BRIEF

Design a mascot character for Poler outdoors, that can be used in event branding and sponsored merchandise, across all events held in Poler Outdoors sister city - Sapporo Japan.

WHAT I DID

I created multiple illustrated designs for the Kegani Cub mascot, spotlighting each annual event whilst also celebrating the partnership between both founding & sister cities of the Poler brand.

RESULT

From the snowy heights of Okurayama to the Lilac Festival in Odori Park, these designs celebrate the annual festivities of Sapporo in a simplistic and lively manner. Parties of families and individual attendees will definitely be wanting to come away with either a tote bag, t-shirt or poster.

Kegani Cub embodies Oregons adventurous native, the brown bear. Whilst also nodding to Sapporo's specialty seafood dish, the horsehair crab.

This project is entirely self initiated and has not been commissioned.
